Inclusion Criteria

clinically relevant fear of flying in terms of a specific phobia or agoraphobia.

Exclusion Criteria

Psychiatric exclusion diagnoses (I.e.: manic or hypomanic episodes; disorders from the schizophrenia spectrum and severe post-traumatic stress disorder) and somatic factors (I.e.: pregnancy, severe infectious diseases, otitis media, cardiovascular disease, epilepsy and stroke, physical or mental disability).

Primary Outcome Measures

1) Reduction of subjective fear of flying due to training :<br>Captured by the FFS (Fear of Flying Scale), the FPS (Flying Phobia Screening Questionnaire), the AES (Anxiety Expectancy Scale Fear of Flying), DES (Danger Expectancy Scale Fear of Flying), and a one-item measure.<br><br>Collection of these measures will occur after the consultation (T0), immediately before training (T1), after the training (T2), and two (T3) and six months (T4) after the training day.<br><br>2) Reduction of clinically relevant fear of flying due to training:<br>Recorded via the presence of the diagnosis of specific phobia or agoraphobia using the Mini-DIPS: (Diagnostic Interview in Mental Disorders), at T0 and T4.

3) Reduction of agoraphobic cognitions through training:<br>Will be captured by the ACQ (Agoraphobic Cognitions Questionnaire).<br><br>Will be measured after the consultation (T0), immediately before the training (T1), after the training (T2), and two (T3) and six months (T4) after the training day.<br><br>4) Reduction in perceived symptom burden due to training:<br>Will be captured by the DASS (Depression- Anxiety -Stress scales). <br>Collection of these measures will occur after the consultation (T0), immediately before training (T1), after training (T2), and two (T3) and six months (T4) after the training day.
