1 Presence of depression with Hamilton score more than 15
2 Age in between 18 to 70 years
3 Either gender
4 Patients having single ischemic or hemorrhagic stroke documented by cerebral CT scanning or MRI before enrolment
5 Patients having history of stroke less than 3months
6 Willing and able to sign the informed consent form
1 Age below 18 and above 70 years
2 Pregnant and lactating mothers
3 Uncontrolled Co-morbidities such as Hypertension, Diabetes Mellitus, Renal and Hepatic diseases
4 Severe Aphasia, Epilepsy and Chronic alcoholism
5 Concomitant skin disease at the application site
6 History of using MAO(Monoamine oxidase) inhibitors within two weeks
