Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Male and female patients with severe unilateral hip OA, planned for THA;
- •\>\= 40 years and \< 65 years of age;
- •No interference in daily physical activity due to any disease or any musculoskeletal condition, except hip OA for which THA is planned.;Healthy controls:
- •Male and female persons who can perform normal daily physical activities without any restriction or pain;
- •\>\= 40 years and \< 65 years of age.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Male and female patients with severe bilateral hip OA;
- •\< 40 years and \>\= 65 years of age;
- •Any disease or musculoskeletal condition interfering with daily physical activity, except hip OA for which THA is planned.;Healthy controls:
- •Male or female persons who cannot perform normal daily physical activities without any restriction or pain;
- •\< 40 years and \>\= 65 years of age;
