  • Primary total hip replacement
  • Diagnosis of osteoarthritis or avascular necrosis

Exclusion Criteria

  • Contraindications for tranexamic acid
  • Bleeding disorder
  • Use of Warfarin or Clexane or clopidogrel
  • History of thromboembolic disorder
