Adult male or female: = 18 years of age at the time of study inclusion
Acute stroke (ischemic or hemorrhagic) diagnosed image morphologically by computed tomography (CT) or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), any location possible
FAC Score 2-5
Pronounced COPD or cardiac insufficiency, requiring mandatory oxygenation
Marked, pre-existing gait disorder, due to knee or hip replacement, orthopedic injury, or orthopedic-related pain, respectively
Pronounced, pre-existing gait disorder, due to severe neuropathy
Pronounced, pre-existing gait disorder, due to other concomitant diseases and which are not attributable to a stroke
