Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients above 18 years of age
2.Patients admitted to ICU with diagnosis of ischemic stroke
3.Patients willing to participate in study
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patients admitted to ICU without ischemic stroke
2.Patients with history of intravenous thrombolysis
3.Patients who were taking anticoagulants
4.Patients with platelet count less than 1,20,000cells/mm3
5.Patients with pre-existing bleeding disorders
6.Patients not willing to participate in the study
