Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •who (i) aged 6\-12 years (ii) were diagnosed asthmatic by a paediatrician (iii) had no other significant medical condition (iv) were on follow\-up at the pediatric asthma clinic for \> 1yr and (v) who were not given any supplementary feeds in the first 06 months of life, were included as Cases.
Exclusion Criteria
- •(i) Children aged 6\-12 years (ii) who had appropriate height and weight for age and (iii) had no other significant medical conditions, were included as Controls.
