Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Patients who
- •\- underwent non\-extraction treatment
- •\- had a complete dentition except for the third molars
- •\- had fixed retainers attached to both the upper and lower anterior teeth
- •\- achieved functional occlusion and treatment goals
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients who
- •\- had undergone orthognathic surgery
- •\- presented with a high decayed, missing, filled teeth index or malformed teeth
- •\- refused to have fixed retainers attached to the anterior teeth
- •\- had facial asymmetry, temporomandibular joint symptoms, allergies, or a history of periodontal disease
