Inclusion Criteria
- •Adult patients (\= 18 years) admitted for sepsis or septic shock( according to
- •Sepsis\-3 criteria) within 24 hours after admission in the department of critical care
Exclusion Criteria
- •(1\) Under 18 years of age.
- •(2\) Pregnancy.
- •(3\) Shock of other origin.
- •(4\) Acute coronary syndrome, chronic renal disease, chronic liver disease.
- •(5\) Malignancy.
- •(6\) On immunosuppressive therapy, HIV.
- •(7\) Leucopoenia.
- •(8\) Trauma, burn.
- •(9\) Post surgical patients/ patients requires immediate surgical intervention
- •(10\) Resuscitation status from cardiopulmonary arrest,
