Patients with known epilepsy
- Age > 18 years,
- Sufficient knowledge of German,
- Presence of written consent.
- Age < 18,
- Presence of primary headache disorder (other than episodic migraine or episodic tension headache)
- Arterial hypertension,
- Pregnancy,
- Therapy with antibodies to CGRP or its receptor in the past 3 months.
- Severe psychiatric or endocrinologic history,
- Use of triptans/other analgesics within 48h prior to examination.

Name Time Method Quantification of trigeminal CGRP release in patients with epilepsy by measuring CGRP levels in tear fluid and plasma interictal versus ictal.
