Inclusion Criteria
ASA physical status 1 and 2 patients between the age of 1 day and 5 years scheduled for elective surgeries requiring general anesthesia for up to 2 hours or less.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Children posted for gastro intestinal surgeries
2. Oral and nasal surgeries
3. Surgeries >2hrs of duration
4. Surgeries involving significant blood loss, which require replacement.
5. Emergency surgeries
