Inclusion Criteria
Older than 18 years;
Rhinosinusitis without polyps or rhinosinusitis with polyps, according to the EPOS 2012 research criteria;
Never submitted to nasal or nasosinusal surgery;
Indication of surgical treatment due to failure to initial routine clinical treatment.
Exclusion Criteria
Inability to answer the questionnaires;
Pregnant or lactating women;
Absolute contraindication to the use of corticosteroids;
Previous diagnosis of immunodeficiencies;
Previous diagnosis of nasosinusal neoplasms;
Previous diagnosis of primary ciliary dyskinesias;
Previous diagnosis of cystic fibrosis;
Use, in the 30 days prior to the inclusion in the study, of oral, intramuscular or intravenous corticosteroids.
