Inclusion Criteria
patients of all age groups and of either sex who have undergone transsphenoidal surgery for pituitary adenoma from the year 2011 to 2013 in neurosurgery will be enrolled
Exclusion Criteria
Patients who have underwent transsphenoidal pituitary surgery in MRI suite will not be include included.

Name Time Method To compare the peri-operative anesthesia & surgical technique, complications and outcome (Glasgow Coma Scale) in endoscopic versus microscopic trans-sphenoidal pituitary surgery.Timepoint: Hours of mechanical ventilation, length of ICU stay, length of hospital stay.
