Inclusion Criteria

1. Patients ages > 50 years
2. Fulfilling the American College of Rheumatology criteria for hand osteoarthritis 1990
3. At least 1 tender joint
4. Joint pain 30 mm according to a visual analog scale (100 mm)
5. No history of fracture or dislocation in hand
6. Accpeted inform consent

Exclusion Criteria

1. History of hand joint surgery
2. Exclude inflammatory joint arthritis
3. Treatment with oral corticosteroids, intra-articular corticosteroids, or hyaluronic acid injection within the previous 3 months
4. On antiplatelet/anticoagulant/chemotherapy
5. Abnormal sensation and motor of upper extremities
6. Abnormal liver function or liver disease
7. Abnormal renal function
8. Allergy to curcumin or NSIADs

Hand pain at rest At baseline, 4 weeks, 8 weeks, 12 weeks and 24 weeks VAS score -VAS will be graded by patients which zero is completely no hand pain and ten is maximum pain.
