Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •ASA Grade 1 \& 2
  • •Modified Mallampatti 1 \& 2
  • •BMI \< 30 KG/M2

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1\.Patient’s refusal to take part in the study.
  • •2\.Patients with anticipated difficult airway, reduced mouth opening/disease of oral cavity
  • •3\.Patients requiring more than three attempts at intubation or I\-gel insertion.
  • •4\.Surgery lasting more than more than 2 hours.
  • •5\.Very anxious patients or those who are unable to communicate.
  • •6\.Severe systemic disorder involving any particular system (respiratory, CVS, renal etc.) or in combination.
  • •7\.Inadequate cervical mobility/cervical malformation.
  • •8\.full stomach/increased risk of aspiration (GERD, hiatus hernia, diabetes mellitus)
  • •9\.Pregnancy,
