Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1ASA physical status I and II.
  • 2Age between 1 to 12 years.
  • 3Patients undergoing elective surgeries like hernia repair, hypospdiasis repair,
  • Circumcision and brief procedures like cystoscopy under general anesthesia with caudal epidural anaesthesia.
  • 4Patients giving consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1operation time expected \>4 hours
  • 2 risk of aspiration,
  • 3 known difficult airway
  • 4congenital malformations involving respiratory tract
  • 5cervical spine disease
