Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •1ASA physical status I and II.
  • •2Age between 1 to 12 years.
  • •3Patients undergoing elective surgeries like hernia repair, hypospdiasis repair,
  • •Circumcision and brief procedures like cystoscopy under general anesthesia with caudal epidural anaesthesia.
  • •4Patients giving consent

Exclusion Criteria

  • •1operation time expected \>4 hours
  • •2 risk of aspiration,
  • •3 known difficult airway
  • •4congenital malformations involving respiratory tract
  • •5cervical spine disease
