简要总结
This study compares the effects of specific speed training and non specific speed training on sprint performance in trained sprinters over eight weeks. Specific training includes uphill and downhill treadmill sprinting, while non specific training includes strength exercises such as back squats and plyometric drills. Thirty to forty sprinters aged 18 to 25 will be randomly divided into specific training, non specific training, and control groups. Pre and post testing will include 100 meter sprint time, lower limb strength using a back leg chest dynamometer, horizontal jump performance, and treadmill sprint duration and speed. The aim is to determine which training method leads to greater improvement in sprint time and overall performance. Data will be analysed using paired and independent statistical tests. The study addresses gaps in the literature where specific and non specific speed training methods have not been compared directly in sprinters.
