Brief Summary

This study is prospective pre test post test one group experimental study to see the changes in the bronchitis severity scale using medicine chosen through Murthy’s repertory in acute bronchitis in pediatric age group within 2 months of study duration in 80 participants as per inclusion and exclusion criteria from outpatient department and to scrutinizing various rubrics for acute bronchitis from  Murphy’s repertory which are helpful in pediatric cases.

Inclusion Criteria

  • Cases with clinically presented Symptoms of acute bronchitis which include Cough wheezing chest pain or discomfort mild fever and dyspnoea which are last for 7 to 14 days but the symptoms of cough may last for 3 to 4 weeks Cases in which parents are giving consent.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients or their parents who are unable to provide their medical history in their own words such as individuals with communication difficulties or cognitive impairments including those who are unable to express themselves effectively Patients with other diagnosed chronic respiratory comorbidity like chronic bronchitis Asthma Tuberculosis ILD etc and DM 1 Genetic anomalies CHD chronic liver disease etc Patients with pathologies like Malignancy Spo2 below 90 percentage on room air Urine output below 1 ml per kg per hour Patients having or using other medications such as homoeopathy Allopathy etc for the same disease.
