Inclusion Criteria
patients sheduled for elective percutaneous nephrolithotomy,
Age 20-65yrs,
ASA physical status I and II
Exclusion Criteria
H/o allergy to local anaesthetics,
Infection at the site of block,
H/o chronic pain syndrome,
patient on chronic opioid medication,
coagulation abnormalities,
BMI > 35,
anatomical deformities of chest

Name Time Method Duration of postoperative analgesiaTimepoint: Duration of postoperative analgesia is taken from time of intervention (block) to time of first rescue analgesic administration

Name Time Method 1. Total analgesic consumption in 24 hours <br/ ><br>2.Pain scores at various time intervals in postoperative period period <br/ ><br>3. Patient satisfaction and any complicationsTimepoint: Total amount of rescue analgesic consumption in first 24 hours is noted. <br/ ><br>Pain scores (at rest and dynamic pain score) noted at 1,2, 4, 6, 12, and 24 hours. Time zero is taken as the time of arrival to recovery room after the surgical procedure.
