Inclusion Criteria
Hearing capacity of the poorer ear unaided
- mean air conduction hearing threshold (500, 1000, 2000, 4000 Hz) > 60 dB HL
- Speech comprehension without CI in the Freiburg Einsilbertest = 30% at 65 dB SPL
Hearing capacity of the better ear at first diagnosis
- Average air conduction hearing threshold (500, 1000, 2000, 4000 Hz) = 30 dB H
Exclusion Criteria
Single-sided deaf patients under 18 years
