简要总结

The purpose of this study is to investigate the effects of post-meal individualized exercise timing on postprandial glucose control in overweight/obese young men. Exercise initiated at 20 minutes prior to individualized peak time will be compared to initiated at individualized peak time.

18 至 35(—)
性别
Male

入选标准

  • Aged between 18 and 35 years;
  • BMI >= 23.0 kg/m2;
  • Sedentary behavior: sedentary time more than 8 hours per day (activPAL for 7d);
  • Insufficient PA: less than 150-min moderate or vigorous intensity PA per week over the past 3 months (IPAQ).

排除标准

  • Hyperglycemia (fasting blood glucose over 5.6 mmol/L);
  • Diagnosed with chronic disease such as type 2 diabetes, CVD, and metabolic syndrome;
  • Taking any medication known to affect lipid or glucose metabolism;
  • Blood pressure over 140/90 mmHg;
  • Abusing of alcohol and drugs;
