Inclusion Criteria
1.Patients having chronic periodontitis.
2.Patients age within 18 to 70 years.
Exclusion Criteria
1.Patients having endo-perio lesions.
2.Diabetic patient.
3.Pregnant or lactating women.
4.Acute gingival or periodontal disease.
5.Patient on steroid therapy and immuno-compromised patient.

Name Time Method Honey as adjunct to scaling and root planing will show better healing and anti-microbial effect when compared with scaling and root planing alone.Timepoint: clinical parameters like probing pocket depth, gingival index, modified sulcular bleeding index will be checked at baseline, 7 days after therapy and 1 month after therapy
