1. Age between 18 to 60 years
2. American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status 1 and 2
3. Who has given written and informed consent
1. Who has not given written informed consent
2. Patients with heart rate less than 60 per minute
3. Patients with anticipated difficult intubation
4. Patients with systolic blood pressure less than 100 mmHg
5. Patients with history of cardiac , renal, cerebral, peripheral vascular disease, obesity , pregnant woman and nursing mothers
6. History suggestive of sensitivity to drugs used in the study
7. Intubation attempts lasting more than 30 seconds
