1)Patients admitted to KMC Manipal in Orthopaedics department with spinal infections for whom molecular diagnostics, biopsy , histopathology and differential counts were done.
2)Patients who have following spinal infections-
1)TB spine
2)Staphylococcal infection
3)Brucella infection
4)Streptococcal infection
5)Burkholderia infection
6)E.coli infection
1)Patients who did not undergo molecular imaging/diagnostic tests for diagnosis of spinal infections.
2)Patients those were already partially treated elsewhere for spinal infections on time of presentation.

Name Time Method detective capabilities(senstivity) of molecular diagnostics in spinal infections and its correlation with conventional methods such as blood culture and histopathology .Timepoint: 2 years

Name Time Method resistance pattern and response to treatment to antibiotics of these infections using clinical and radiological assessment tools.Timepoint: 2 years
