Inclusion Criteria
Ischemic stroke with occlusion of the Internal Carotid Artery and/or Middle Cerebral Artery in segment M1
-Age >18 years
-mechanical recanalization = TICI 2b (± Stent)
Exclusion Criteria
- technically indiced injury of the vessel (dissection, perforation, rupturation)
- significant stenosis common carotid artery, internal carotid artery (NASCET >50%) or middle cerbral artery in segment M1
- lack of visualization of the middle cerebral artery in segment M1
