Inclusion Criteria
Adult patients (18 - 70 years) admitted with intracranial pathology in neurosurgical ICU at our hospital which usually includes intracranial tumours and subarachnoid haemorrhage with intra-arterial blood pressure monitoring and central venous access in place.
Exclusion Criteria
Patient refusal.
Age less than 18 years and more than 70 years.
Hemodynamic instability
patients with pneumocephalus or pneumoventricle
Concomitant severe medical illness like decompensated heart failure, advanced liver disease, renal failure
Thick skull with poor bone window
