Sodium Bicarbonate for the prevention of Contrast Induced Nephropathy in patients undergoing CTPA - The Nephros StudyThe prevention of Contrast Induced Nephropathy is under investigation.Contrast induced nephropathy (CIN) can occur after injecting radiographic iso osmolair contrast media. Patients with a renal impairment or a decreased renal function and aspecially in combination with diabetis mellitus are at risk for developing CIN.MedDRA version: 12.0Level: LLTClassification code 10037790Term: Radiocontrast nephropathyEUCTR2009-013547-11-NLeids Universitair Medisch Centrum
