Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Age 18–80 years
- •2 .Lumbar/Lumbosacral radicular pain/or low back pain that have not responded to conservative treatments (pharmacotherapy and physical therapy) .
- •3\. Symptomatic patients with MRI proven disc prolapse at different level.
- •4\. Patients who would be available for follow up for minimum of 1 month.
- •5\. Chronic low backache with radiculopathy.
- •6\. Patients willing for steroid injection.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. Patients not giving consent for the procedure.
- •2\. Patients with neurological deficits.
- •3 .H/O Allergic reactions to local anaesthesia ,opiates ,contrast agents or steroids.
- •4\.Patients with Extruded and sequestered discs.
- •5\. Patients with associated listhesis, instability of the spine.
- •6\.Any systemic infection or local infection at the injection site.
- •7\.Coagulopathy and bleeding disorders.
- •8\.Uncontrolled diabetes not on any medications
