Inclusion Criteria
History of chronic ankle pain and swelling
playing for 5 years or more
Exclusion Criteria
Any other musculoskeletal pathology affecting their lower leg in the last six months
history of lower limb fracture in last six months
Any surgery in last six months

Name Time Method To find the potential risk factors for ankle impingement in football playersTimepoint: Total duration is of 52 weeks. 40 weeks will be to assess 118 players and find the potential risk factors for ankle impingement.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method To develop an equation for prediction of ankle impingement. <br/ ><br>To identify and compare the potential biomechanical, psychological, anthropometric, and functional risk factors for ankle impingement in football playersTimepoint: In 12 weeks, statistical analysis will be done, based on which equation will be derived to predict the risk of ankle impingement in football players
