- Male
Inclusion Criteria
- •- Minimum age 18 years
- •- A change in the total sperm count deviating from the reference value is used as absolute inclusion criterion
- •- Most recent spermiogram a maximum of three months ago
Exclusion Criteria
- •Exclusion criteria
- •- Daily nicotine consumption of more than 10 cigarettes
- •- Daily alcohol consumption; occasional alcohol consumption does not have a verifiable effect on the spermatozoa
- •- Drug or medication addiction
- •- Acute prostatitis
- •- Surgical removal of the prostate or the testes
- •- Prostatic cancer or testicular cancer and chemotherapy or radiation therapy within the past 2 years
- •- Medical treatment with antidepressants, calcium channel blockers, anti-retroviral medication, anti-epileptic drugs and alpha-blockers during the past three month
- •- Vasectomy
- •- Necrozoospermia
- •- Aspermia
- •- Azoospermia
