Inclusion Criteria
Eligible participants were (1) aged 18 years or older, (2) smoked at least one cigarette per day for a month or more, (3) ready to quit smoking or in the preparation stage, (4) willing to participate in the study, (5) able to complete self-records, and (6) had a smartphone.
Exclusion Criteria
Exclusion criteria were women who were pregnant or breast feeding, individuals with cardiovascular disease, and individuals currently in another smoking cessation program.
