Current complaints of pain in the ankle and foot at least for a period of 3 months or more.
Patients with age group above 40 years middle and late adulthood.
Patients of both sexes.
Patients willing to do laboratory investigations when required for study.
Patients willing to participate and comply with the study procedure.
Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction of stage I and or stage II according to Johnson and Strom.
Rigid foot deformity.
Posterior tibial tendon dysfunction of stage III according to Johnson and Strom & stage IV according to Myerson.
Patients with preexisting fixed foot deformities or congenital bony deformities.
Previous history of surgery on the same ankle and foot.
Presence of neurovascular peripheral vascular musculoskeletal abnormality.
Diagnosed cases of unstable mental or psychiatric illness affecting quality of life.
Self-reported immune compromised state.
Substance abuse and or dependence.
