Inclusion Criteria
1. Age 3-14 years of either gender.
2. American Society of Anesthesiologist status 1 and 2
3.Patients scheduled to undergo elective surgeries under general anesthesia lasting 60-180 min
Exclusion Criteria
1.Refusal of parents/ guardians for taking part in the study
2.Patients with hearing impairment
3.Patients with any neurological disorders
4.Patients with neurodevelopmental anomalies
5.Surgical duration <60 min or >180 min
6.Children undergoing emergency procedures

Name Time Method To study the effect of intraoperative music therapy on sAA levels in <br/ ><br>pediatric patients undergoing elective surgeries.Timepoint: just before extubation.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 1.To study the effect of intraoperative music therapy on peri-operative characteristics in <br/ ><br>pediatric patients undergoing elective surgeries. <br/ ><br>2. To study the effect of music on post operative pain. <br/ ><br>Timepoint: Heart rate, Systolic Blood Pressure, Diastolic Blood Pressure, State entropy and Response Entropy will be noted at every 10 min from start of anesthesia till the end of anesthesia. <br/ ><br>Pain scores will be noted at 0 min, 30 min, 60 min, 3 hrs, 6 hrs, 12 hrs and 24 hrs after the surgery ends.
