Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
A total of 40 patients should be included in the study, of which 15 operative patients should be compared to 25 healthy children. We want to evaluate whether the detachment and refixation of the temporal muscle during cranioplasty has a negative influence on stomatognathic function. Hence, we specifically evaluate bite force The maximum occlusal force should be measured using a specially manufactured bite fork. <br><br>The Evaluation should be done at a Minimum of 5 years after surgery. <br><br>Details concerning the method please see section Arm 1
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Addtionally. the muscular function via EMG -Analysis in both groups should be evaluated. The registration of the muscle action potentials should be performed via analog surface electromyography, sEMG, System (EMG-8, Zebris Medical GmbH, Isny, Germany).
