Uncomplicated Term Pregnant Women with singleton pregnancy scheduled for elective caesarean section under spinal anaesthesia
Pregnant Women with American Society of Anaesthesiologists physical status III and above.
Women having conditions with increased risk of uterine atony and PPH such as, pre eclampsia, eclampsia, multiple gestation, placenta previa, uterine fibroids and previous history of uterine atony and PPH.
Females with a history of bleeding diasthesis or thromboembolic diseases.
Women who are a known case of chronic medical diseases(renal, hepatic or cardiovascular diseases)
