Surveillance: Males and females of all ages who are residents of villages Dayalpur, Chandawali or Atali of Faridabad district and who have been registered with the health information management system of CRHSP, Ballabgarh
Vaccination: Males and females of age 6 months through 10 years of age who are residents of villages Dayalpur, Chandawali or Atali of Faridabad district and who have been registered with the health information management system of CRHSP, Ballabgarh.
Exclusion: Vaccination: Children with history of hyper-sensitivity/allergy to previous TIV, Polio or other vaccinations.
Exclusion Criteria: Surveillance: None
Exclusion Criteria: Vaccination: Exclusion criteria from the vaccine groups includes known allergy to eggs or bakers yeast, hypersensitivity to other components of a vaccine, a previous history of Guillain-Barre Syndrome when given an influenza vaccine, or fever on the schduled day of vaccination.
