Inclusion Criteria

Pediatric patients belonging to the group of ASA I/II and in the age group of 3-8 years scheduled to undergo elective surgeries under General anesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

1.Patients undergoing emergency surgeries.

2.Patients whose parents or legal guardians refuse to provide consent.

3.Patients with known or unanticipated difficult airway.

4.Patients with known allergy to dexmedetomidine.

5.Patients having preoperative hemodynamic instability such as shock.
