B)Inclusion criteria
1.To include 60 pregnant ladies in second trimester with healthy and stage IV gingivitis.
2.Young and old maternal age pregnant women aged from 25 years to 35 years.
3.Systemically healthy patient.
4.Ready to comply with the study.
5.Healthy subjects and subjects with periodontitis.
C)Exclusion criteria
1.Pt with any systemic disease or medically compromised patients.
2.Long term (more than 2 weeks) use of antibiotics in past 3 months
3.Not on any hormonal therapy
4.Subjects with smoking, tobacco chewing habit, alcoholics & drug abusers.

Name Time Method To evaluate and correlate the periodontal status with serum IL-6, LDH, CRP level of women in second trimester with or with or without chronic periodontitis.Timepoint: Any time of second trimester i.e four, fifth or sixth we will take the serum sample of pregnant women

Name Time Method Inflammatory markers play an important role in pregnancy outcome. it is very well documented that pt with chronic periodontitis may lead to various probelms related to pregnancy outcome .
