- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method OH in MSA has devastating consequences for the level of functioning and is difficult to treat. A precise knowledge of the origins of orthostatic dysfunction would pave the way for new therapeutic strategies, including medical and surgical (e.g. deep brain stimulation) options. Moreover, the study will provide novel physiological insight in human baroreflex regulation at the brainstem level and may help to better distinguish between different neurodegenerative diseases as well as for early diagnosis.
