1.Duration of symptoms >4 weeks
2.Normal anteroposterior radiograph of glenohumeral joint on affected side
1. History of shoulder trauma,dislocation or fractures in the shoulder area
2. History of injection in the involved shoulder during the preceding 6 months
3.Bleeding disorders
4.Uncontrolled diabetes mellitus
5.Active infection at site of injection
6.History of allergy to local anaesthetics
7.Use of anticoagulant drugs in past 7 days
8.Affected shoulder surgery in past 1 year
9.Patients who are pregnant or breastfeeding
