简要总结
In our country, factors such as poor nutrition, multiple childbirths, low socio economic status, poverty, population growth, and neglect of proper hygiene contribute to many women experiencing conditions such as anemia, malnutrition, and poor health. Consequently, they are more susceptible to various gynecological disorders, including Shlaishmiki yonivyapad.
Shlaishmiki yonivyapad is a prevalent and pressing issue affecting women worldwide. Its symptoms, including vaginal white discharge, itching and mild vaginal pain, are often distressing. Through a comprehensive analysis of the chief complaints and a review of the disease, Shlaishmiki yonivyapad is compared to vulvovaginal candidiasis. While numerous treatments exist in modern science, they are not devoid of side effects and the risk of recurrence. Therefore, the selection of an appropriate treatment is paramount.
Classical texts outline a range of local treatments, including yoni varti or vaginal pessary, yoni dhavan or vaginal douching, yoni pichu or vaginal medicated oil tampon and yoni dhoopan or vaginal fumigation, alongside oral medications, yielding positive outcomes in managing various Yonivyapad. Given its widespread utilization and high effectiveness, sthanik chikitsa in the form of yoni pichu, especially Udumbaradi taila pichu, emerges as the preferred remedy for Shlaishmiki yonivyapad, thus justifying its selection for this study.
Unlike other forms of candidiasis, vulvovaginal candidiasis primarily affects immunocompetent and otherwise healthy women, particularly during their child bearing years. Although non lethal, its widespread global incidence and significant negative impact on quality-of-life underscore the urgency for a deeper understanding of the disease and the development of enhanced treatment protocols. One of the most commonly utilized medicines for the treatment of Vulvovaginal candidiasis is Clotrimazole vaginal tablet, hence it has been selected for the comparative study as the standard drug.
