subjects presenting with clinical features of vatarakta such as,
pain
swelling(katina,stabda)
burning sensation(daha)
malaise
hot to touch
affected skin becomes blackish red in colour(syava/tamra twacha)
itching(kandu)
kunchana(contracture)
daha,toda,sphurana in sandhi
subjects presenting with clinical features of gout such as,
painful joint
swelling
redness of joint
hyperuricemia(7-11 mg/dl)
subjects prediagnosed with autoimmune disease of joints
patients with chronic alcoholic history
hypothyroidism
patient on immune suppressive drugs
tumour lysis syndrome
type 1 diabetes mellitus
type 2 diabetus mellitus with complications
patients with severe toxicity,ulceration,progressive gangrenous changes
syphilis
patient of vatarakta having,
spread upto knee(aajanu)
cracked skin(sphutita)
broken skin(prabhinna)

Name Time Method reduction in serum uric acid level of the patient. <br/ ><br>improvement in signs and symptoms of the patient.Timepoint: assessment of signs and symptoms and serum uric acid level will be done 3 times;0th day,30th day,60th day.
