Inclusion Criteria

Elderly aged 60 years or over; being on the waiting list for hydrotherapy at the Pardinho Ombudsman's Physical Activity Center

Exclusion Criteria

Elderly people with urinary or fecal incontinence will be excluded; open wounds; infectious cutaneous diseases; infectious diseases; uncontrolled blood pressure; recent postoperative period; cognitive alteration that prevents completion of the questionnaire; participation in another program of physical activity or physiotherapeutic rehabilitation; elderly with severe neurological and cardiac problems; or any other clinical problem that would contraindicate the performance of the tests and exercises

The personal and sociodemographic characteristics of the elderly were evaluated by means of absolute and relative frequency, separated by group. The majority of GFA elderly were female (91.7%), age between 60 and 65 years (33.4%), normal weight (40%), married or widowed (41.7%), low level (58.3%), who took up to 4 medications (81.7%), which fell in the last year (60%), retired or pensioner (68.3%), low economic class (58.3%) %) and with a negative health perception (85%). In CG, the majority of the elderly were female (61.7%), aged between 60 and 65 years (31.6%), overweight (40%), married (66.7%), (58.3%), retired or pensioner (58.4%), low economic class (50%), who took up to 4 medications (91.6%), which fell in the last year (75%) and with a perception of positive health (88.3%).
