Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • supratentorial location of the tumor
  • language eloquent tumor or patient has language impairment
  • proposed entity: primary or secondary brain tumor
  • all lesions of that patient are treated surgically
  • Mini Mental Status Examination \>\= 20 points

Exclusion Criteria

  • patients not eligible for MRI
  • patients with CSF fluid diversion
  • patients with implanted devices for neuromodulation or deep brain stimulation
  • patients who cannot consent
  • patient refuses participation
  • pregnant or breast\-feeding patients
  • patients with exclusively infratentorial lesions
  • patients with meningiomas as lesion to be treated
  • patients on dialysis
  • patients with coronary heart disease
