Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Age \= 65 years
  • •\- elective non\-cardiac surgery with intermediate or high surgical risk
  • •\- Field: general, Visceral, thoracic, urologic, traumatic, orthopaedic, gynaecological, ENT, oral, jaw, face, spinal and neurosurgery
  • •\- surgery performed in general anaesthesia

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- Age \< 65 years
  • •\- cardiac surgery
  • •\- emergency surgery
  • •\- lack of consent
  • •\- local or regional anesthesia
