Patients must be diagnosed with a bloodstream infection caused by a member of the Enterobacteriaceae family
All patients above 18 years of age
In cases which patients the patient has more than one episode of bloodstream infection due to Enterobacteriaceae or more than one admission, only the first episode will be considered. The date of BSI will be considered the date of entry into the study.
-Patients will be excluded if they have previously been included in the study or if they not for treatment with curative intent immediately prior to the bloodstream infection diagnosis
-Patients below 18 years of age
