No previous Orthodontic treatment other than provided at Institute of Dental Science.
Patients treated with fixed orthodontic appliance in both the jaw using .022 slot MBT prescription.
Patients who received single arch or sectional fixed appliance treatment.
Patients who had undergone Rapid Maxillary expansion.
Patients requiring prosthetic treatment for missing teeth.
Patient with learning disabilities or cleft lip palate.
Patients with poor periodontal status.
Patients with Temporomandibular disorder.

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Clinical effectiveness with Hawley Retainers and Vacuum-formed Retainers will be evaluated by assessing the inter-premolar width and intermolar width at the time of debonding, after 3 months and then after 9 months from debonding. And occlusal contact points will be assessed at time of debonding and after 3 months.Timepoint: At baseline (at the time of debonding), 3 months, 9 months
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Patients acceptibility of hawley & vacuum-formed retainers will be evaluated after 3 months of debonding using a Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) which will contain 10 questions on appearance, teeth bitting, durability, self-esteem, fitting of retainers, gum irritation, oral hygiene, speech, swallowing & overall comfort.Timepoint: At 3 months
