Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Age between 60 to 80 years,
- •2\.An open surgical approach,
- •3\.ASA I and ASA II patients,
- •4\.Minimum educational qualification up to V standard,
- •5\.Duration of surgery of more than two hours,
- •6\.Can be either males or females.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Refusal to consent.
- •2\.History of alcohol abuse, chronic opiod or other substance abuse.
- •3\.History of cerebral surgeries, stroke.
- •4\.History of diagnosis of schizophrenia, dementia, anxiety or other disorder affecting cognition, mental dysfunction.
- •5\.Any electrolyte imbalance.
- •6\.Any active infection or disease associated with inflammation.
