The Comparison of Nutritional Outcomes between Different Techniques of Intradialytic Amino Acid Infusion In Hemodialysis Patient: A Randomized Controlled Trial

The change of serum albumin level between both techniques were not significantly different at the end of study. Despite comparable energy and protein intake, serum albumin levels were significantly increased in continuous group whereas it was still unchanged in the loading group. The average total AA losses in dialysate were not significantly different. Both plasma essential and non-essential AA levels between groups were also similar. Muscle mass, strength, and gait speed did not differ.
