Inclusion Criteria
1.)Patients between 18-60 years of age
2.)ASA class 1,2 and 3
3.)Patients scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia
4.)BMI less than 25 and more than 30
Exclusion Criteria
Pregnant patients
- Patients undergoing emergency surgeries
- Cervical spine fracture
- Restricted neck movements
- Reduced mouth opening
- Airway pathologies (maxilla-facial fractures, tumors etc)
- Requiring Rapid Sequence Intubation

Name Time Method To find out if the below two USG parameters can predict difficult airway in adult obese and non-obese patients by correlating with Cormack and Lehane grading <br/ ><br>1)DSHB - distance from skin to hyoid bone <br/ ><br>2)DSEM - distance from skin to epiglottis, at the level of thyrohyoid membraneTimepoint: 10 minutes
