Inclusion Criteria

1.)Patients between 18-60 years of age

2.)ASA class 1,2 and 3

3.)Patients scheduled for elective surgery under general anaesthesia

4.)BMI less than 25 and more than 30

Exclusion Criteria

Pregnant patients

- Patients undergoing emergency surgeries

- Cervical spine fracture

- Restricted neck movements

- Reduced mouth opening

- Airway pathologies (maxilla-facial fractures, tumors etc)

- Requiring Rapid Sequence Intubation

To find out if the below two USG parameters can predict difficult airway in adult obese and non-obese patients by correlating with Cormack and Lehane grading <br/ ><br>1)DSHB - distance from skin to hyoid bone <br/ ><br>2)DSEM - distance from skin to epiglottis, at the level of thyrohyoid membraneTimepoint: 10 minutes
